Photo Challenge No. 4: Square Format


The docks, Tinian. My second favorite place to watch the sunset, but a lot of people go there so I prefer the lookout point.


The lookout point, Tinian. The sunset sweetspot. Cool breeze, all you hear is birds chirping, and a killer view, but surprisingly not a load of people. Makes for a good thinking place.


Taga beach, Tinian. Me and my cousins trying to cool off in this immense heat.


Surf Club, Saipan. Came here once and I came back, the place has good food and an amazing location.

Final Photo Critique

"Waterways" The landscape photograph has nice vibrant colors that make the subjects pop out and also has a few interesting details that allow your eyes to wonder. " Chiget" The subjects form and contrast against the colors and texture of the cliff make then very pronounced. "Blue Cotton" The photography mad the right decision in making the sky more dominant in the photography instead of the dull runway, and laying the subjects on the lines of the horizon shows the use of the rule of thirds. "Aviators" The subject is sharp and makes me focus on that, but the photography didn't make the shape of the plane completely unrecognizable, which is a nice nod to the aviator sunglasses. "End" The photographer sort of encased the sunset in the tree trunks and horizon which makes me focus on that.
