War in the Marianas: Tinian

Image
These are pictures of the pits where the infamous bombs, Little Boy and Fat Man were stored and loaded onto the B-29s. Little Boy would later be dropped on Hiroshima, Fat Man was dropped on Nagasaki. The war ended after those two devastating bombs were dropped.

My Morning View

Every morning I wake up and open the window next to my bed. To firstly, breath the fresh Tinian air. Then I look at the weather to see whether I can bike to school or not, and what I should wear. Plus I love a naturally lit room.

Introduction

My name is Anthony Canlas. I was born on Saipan but raised for nine years in the Philippines, but then came back to the CNMI two years ago. I live on Tinian now. Currently I like mountain biking around Tinian when the weather's forgiving, and just lie in bed when it's not. I am a member of the National Honors Society on Tinian, and the Biker's Association of Tinian. When I'm bored and lazy I usually just research about technology and astrophysics to pleasure my brain. The picturesque landscape of Tinian is what got me into photography. Hope to learn more and enjoy the class.
